NiT GriT - Euthanizing A Dream EP

San Jose producer NiT GriT has released a new EP called Euthanizing A Dream on his Bandcamp page. The 3-track release features all original dubstep and glitch tunes. NiT GriT has been blowing up in the bass music scene since he played his very first show opening for Excision in March of 2010. Since then, the majority of the tunes he posts up on his Soundcloud page shows up on the "Hot" chart almost immediately. Bad Boy Bill & Nick Rockwell - Concourse B

DJ/Producer Bad Boy Bill has teamed up with Nick Rockwell on a new house track called "Concourse B", which was released this week on BBB's label Ménage Music. Bad Boy Bill began his career as a DJ in 1985 when the Chicago house music scene was just getting started. He gained a big following in Chi-town by playing the club scene non-stop and selling his DJ mix tapes out his trunk all over town. He was one of the first guys to mass produce his mixes. Soon thereafter, he became internationally known with his Bangin' The Box mix series and his collaborations with Richard Vission. Nick Rockwell, also a Chicago resident, grew up idolizing Bill and began DJing clubs when he was a teenager. After opening for many big names, including Bill himself, his idol named him as the 2008's Breakthrough DJ and Nick is now one of his go-to openers. Rye Rye - Bang (The Polish Ambassador Remix)

The Polish Ambassador has posted a free download of the first single off the upcoming Homeboys In Outer Space: Episode 2. The track he has remixed is Rye Rye's 2009 song "Bang", turning it in to a banging glitch hop tune. The second installment of the popular EP series will also feature remixes of songs by Jay-Z, Dead Prez, The Beastie Boys, and Lupe Fiasco. The new EP will be released on Grassroots California on March 6th. Below I have posted the new remix, along with last year's Homeboys In Outer Space: Episode 1.

Discotexas - Bucket of Love Vol. II Compilation

This week, Portuguese record label Discotexas released Bucket Of Love Vol. II. This compilation features various hits the label put out last year from the likes of Justin Faust, Moullinex, Xinobi, Gloves, and many more. The release also has a few unreleased tunes such as "Cave Disco" by Japanese producer Astrolabe, which comes with a nice edit from Discotexas. This is a must have compilation for fans of nu-disco and house. You can listen to Bucket Of Love Vol. II below.

Munchi - Moombahtonista EP

In the summer of 2010, when moombahton was first getting started, many of the tunes were edits and remixes. Dutch producer Munchi was one of the first guys to make original moombah tracks, giving the genre legitimacy. Today is the release date for Munchi's Moombahtonista EP on Mad Decent. Munchi's very first EP on the label features remastered and mixed versions of the tunes that helped kickstart the genre such as "Sandungueo" and "Pero que lo que mujer". On the track "La Brasileña Ta Montao", he added vocals from reggaetonero Angel Doze. Munchi is currently supporting the EP on his Moombahtonista Tour, which kicked off on February 15th at D.C.'s Moombahton Massive party. The tour will be hitting many cities in the U.S. and Europe. Madeon - Icarus

Brand new track from Madeon called "Icarus" was released today on his brand new label Popcultr. The track was first heard during his 15 Minutes Of Pain mix on Pete Tong's radio show last month. The 17 year old French electropop producer has gained international attention after successful remixes of Deadmau5 and Yelle, and became somewhat of an internet sensation when a video of him performing a live mashup called "Pop Culture" hit the web. The track combined 39 pop hits into one song and reached over 9 million views. Madeon will debut his live show at the Ultra Music Festival, which takes place in Miami, FL next month. He will also be performing at this year's Coachella Festival. You can listen to the new song below.

VIDEO: Classixx at Rio Room (8/25/2011)

Tonight is another edition of Rio Room's 83' Series of parties. This week they have brought in L.A. duo Classixx. During Rio Room's Summer Series, Classixx came in for a show in August that was fantastic. Below we have a video that was put together by PFK Productions from that night to get you in the mood for the party this evening. The song in the clip is their latest single "Into The Valley", which was released last year.
