Today is the release date of the audio/video project by Britain's Futurecop!. The project is simply called The Movie, and is available through Kiez Beats Records. This 13-track album is consumed with dreamy synthesizers and has a very nostalgic sound reminiscent of soundtracks from 80's fantasy movies such as The NeverEnding Story. In fact, the concept of the album is that it is the instrumental soundtrack to an imaginative "movie" from the group's childhood. Although there does not appear to be any full length film set to be released, the group did make a video for every tune on the album. You can check them out on the band's YouTube page.
